Leave that to the Artful Dodger.

The War At Home is honestly, without exaggeration, the worst sitcom, if not the worst thing in general, I have ever seen on television. If it weren't for its convenient post-Simpsons, pre-Family Guy timeslot, I would never have encountered such a disaster.

  1. yep. That's some horrible stuff. I can't even stand to watch a minute of it.

  2. I say this to Caleb on a weekly basis. We, of course, still watch it - mainly because it doesn't bother him to watch bad TV (see Andromeda, Farscape) and I'm too lazy to change it. But this week was ... I hate to say it ... a little bit better than usual. When the girls got drunk and the one friend started trying to get with the brother (I don't know anyone's names on this show) so he broke up with his girlfriend and then the other girl was like, "Hahahaha I was drunk, get lost" ... well, I found that pretty entertaining. Also, they've started using the "monologue" thing in other characters than just the dad.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think "American Dad" is worse. Barely.

(note inconsistent labeling of TV shows in italics and quotes, guess what?, I don't care)

  3. I chuckled once-- when the father called the daughter a "flapper" for flapping her mouth too much and grounded her simply because she was annoying him too much (and he was drunk).

The monologue bits were terrible. Worst jokes ever.

Worst jokes ever? I'm thinking of a certain punch line at the end of a certain 25-page joke that concludes "Better Nate than lever" ...

  5. Worst jokes ever.

"Better Nate..." is 10 times the quality of

"Maybe we shouldn't have alcohol while the kids are living with us."
"But honey, we have alcohol because the kids are living here."
