That was at once the dumbest and most brilliant thing I have ever seen. I like the track very much, and it never ceases to amaze me how much mileage these new bands are getting out of 70's and 80's musical forms (especially disco) coupled with modern-sounding lyrics. I wish I could write something this catchy and well-done.
That melody! Just the hook alone is some great stuff.
Saw these guys live last year, by the way (Club Downunder, of course). They were very entertaining, and for an encore, they just did a choreographed dance (like the video) to a recorded song that had funny lyrics, like "si-si-si, cinnamon lips."
They just had a new CD come out, but I want to get an older one. And then the new one.
