Bring your CD's with you next week. Also, the Denison Marrs record you have was released on Velvet Blue Records. And "Distance" was released in 2004.
They made a big deal here about the new Silver Jews record, I guess because the band is based out of Nashville now. I found that misleading because for most of their career, they weren't.
I generally approve of everything else, except for your having every record by Radiohead except The Bends.
... All of them? I haven't put them into a monster CD Book, because I am still somewhat suspicious of those things... my last one got sand in it (?somehow?) and scratched up my Clash Singles, Wallflowers Breach and others.
Dan Frahm scratched up my BNL Rock Spectacle. Grrr.
Yeah, The Bends is high on my list. Trust me.
I am also gonna get Cake Prolonging the Magic pretty soon.
American Water (Silver Jews) is pretty dang good... although he records, I don't think David Berman performs anymore; I read a good interview with him on Popmatters. I'll bring this one.
I just went by the copyright on Distance, which said 2003.
I don't think I have enough classic records (looking at Blonde on Blonde, Sketches of Spain, Clapton, some others I can't think of right now).
